Williamsburg Trip, Easter ‘06

Well Busch Gardens was fun… The past two days we went there, played in the game room, gone in the pool, and got a round or two of tennis in. Tonight’s the last night/packing night, and we’re leaving tomorrow before noon. Hopefully I’ll be home around 8PM, if all goes according to plan.

Looks like today we’re starting out with some rec-room time. The plan for the rest of the day is to get a big dinner/lunch around 3 and then go to Busch Gardens for the rest of the night… sounds like it’ll be fun.
PS - Pick up a copy of the local Courier News and check the Community Section…

Well today was a fun day visiting colonial Jamestown and Williamsburg. We spent some time in the room, and the game room, and I’m due for tennis with the kids at 9PM. Not sure what we’re doing tomorrow exactly… I think it’s more of a restful day than anything…

Arrived safely in Fairfield Resorts Kingsgate after a lengthy drive to a couple of stops at battlegrounds and at Monticello. Turns out this place has free wireless at the rec-room/pool area, so I’ll be able to make stop in there every once in awhile this week. Other than that, I hope everyone has had a happy and relaxful Easter!

Well I probably wont be able to update this until after the break, so Happy Easter to everyone! I’ll hopefully be back on Saturday by 8PM (if all goes according to plan).

Well King’s Dominion turned out not to have as much stuff to do as we anticipated, so we decided to take the second half of the day off for R&R. Tomorrow is church and the move to the timeshare (with no HSIA).

Went to see Mt. Vernon, walked around the mall in DC, saw the major memorials, and went to see Shenandoah at Ford’s Theatre. Tomorrow is King’s Dominion until probably late night again.

Going to see Mt. Vernon today, and downtown DC… probably be back around 9PM?

The trip down I-95S turned out to be ~7 hours long which is more than we anticipated. There was major traffic merging back onto 95 past the beltway, and some kinda accident on the north side of said beltway. Turns out the place I’m staying today through Saturday has HSIA - ’till then you can email me or catch me when I’m on AIM (probably only at night).
